Teeth whitening is one of the most popular ways to enhance your smile.  Our clinical team will work with you to discover the solution that will best meet your individual needs, so that you can restore your teeth to their natural whiteness.

All of our treatments are safe and proven to lighten the shade of your teeth.

Home Teeth Whitening

(tray-based whitening)

These systems enable you to brighten your smile from the comfort of your own home. However, as this is part of a dental treatment they shouldn’t be used without expert professional guidance.

Teeth whitening consultation

When you choose tray-based home teeth whitening you’ll need an initial dental consultation. This will help us to make sure your teeth are suitable for this type of treatment.

If so,  we’ll make impressions of your teeth which will be used to produce custom-made whitening trays to fit your top and bottom teeth.

The trays are made from a soft vinyl rubber that are tailored to fit the exact contours of your teeth and specially moulded to fit into your mouth like a delicate gum-shield. They enable the teeth whitening gel to make close contact with your tooth enamel to produce an all-over, consistent, whiter smile.

Ready-made trays that  are sometimes provided with other home teeth whitening products simply do not allow the close contact that is required to create such even results.

The next step in the process  is a visit with our clinical team, who will provide you with your first treatment, talk you through how to use the trays and answer any questions you may have.

Tray-based teeth whitening

After starting your treatment, you will need to continue the whitening process at home. This will involve regularly applying the whitening gel and wearing the trays overnight, or during the day, following to the advice of our clinical team.

Teeth whitening gels produce oxygen that penetrates the tiny pores in the enamel surface of your teeth. The oxygen removes stains that may have become embedded in the enamel over the years, using a safe and easy oxidation process.
